For History and Theory II, we had the task of creating a perspective piece that portrayed the main ideas of the unit we had just completed discussing. I chose my scale to be space and my form to be 3D. My model is a perspective image of a Gothic cathedral, specifically Amiens Cathedral in France. Space is represented by the interior of the church, materials by the 3D buttresses, people by the nun in the center, nature by the sunlight beaming through the stained glass windows, and symbol is represented by the cathedral as a whole, being a symbol of this time period and the church's power.
