EMPHASIZING CODES.

For the second assignment for Visual Communications II, we were asked to take codes that had been illustrated by our classmates in the previous assignment and use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to emphasize each code.

Again, we chose two codes to emphasize. The instructions were as follows:

For the second assignment, you will be challenged with identifying and emphasizing the application of building codes in an existing interior space. You will be assigned two codes. For each code you will seek out a location on campus or in the neighboring area where that code have been applied. You will photograph the spaces and then edit each photograph to highlight the code applied. 

We will use a combination of Photoshop and Illustrator to create a composition that measures 8.5 x 11. On the composition you must briefly describe the code in your own words, provide a reference to the code and reference the location to find the code in written form. These compositions will be placed within the booklet that will house the illustrated codes that you created in the previous assignment.
